The other night my daughter spit up while she was on her back and started choking so I turned her on her side right away and she was fine. My pediatrician and everyone else on this planet keep telling me how bad cosleeping is but honestly explain how my daughter sleeps almost through the night when we cosleep? I'm not giving it up lol

We've been co sleeping since we came home as well. She would only sleep on my chest and eventually right next to me. For a while I had her in one of those co sleepers so I wouldn't roll on her while she was small but we only used that for a little while. Make sure if you do that you make sure your baby doesn't only lay with their head facing one direction for my daughter she would only sleep with her head facing the right and so when she would be up he head would kind of lean to one side so I switch the side of bed she was on and it fixed itself. Now she sleeps either on her back, belly, or side. It definitely makes breastfeeding easier because she will lay on top of my and eat that way and when she's asleep I turn to the side and lay her down or I feed her while we're both laying down and she goes back to sleep. I love co sleeping! She used to kind of choke and because I was right there I was able to turn her to the side right away and be able to check on her.

@babyjjsmommy, I didn't think about propping her up I've been kind of tucking the sheets around us with her on my chest at an incline

I've been cosleeping since I brought my son home from the hospital. The first week or two I was very paranoid so I left a lamp on, swaddled him tight and propped him on a boppy with his feet facing toward me. We did that every night until he was about 4 months old and then I stopped swaddling and he's slept either on his side or kind of half propped on his stomach/ side now. Been doing that since then and he's 7.5 months. I'm a light sleeper so any noise wakes me up, making cosleeping work just fine for us. Plus it is great for breastfeeding, you can just lay on your side instead of having to fully wake up and sit up with baby.

No tip, just be aware. I won't CS with him if I'm vvvereerrrryyyy tired just in case I pass out and roll over on him. I don't know how I'm so aware but I literally don't move at all. Lol
