What is pitocin?

Hated pitocin! Painful and had it with both my other children and now dr is wanting to induce with this one. 😩 it caused double contractions at once with my daughter so they had to knock it down some.

I had an appt too bc I went over my 40 weeks it was supposed to happen on Friday the 9th and the 5th my water broke , but nothing I was put on oxytocin , I was 1 dilated only .. The pain hit in 1 min it felt like I was been teared inside it hurted so much 😢 and after labor I had to keep that shit until it finished .. And you can't even get up from bed if you get epidural .. And with that and iv you are peeing like crazg

I mean that's how they induce you with pitocin. I'm not sure if there's another way that they can. If you get the epidural it's not as bad but you still feel the pressure. Have you not gotten a membrane sweep?

Most likely you will Atleast in my past experience I did and if I have to be induced with this baby come next week I'm going to need it again @yulianna007 you'll be okay though it just makes contractions stronger then they are without it
