My 1 month old sleeps very well when on his stomach and longer periods.. when he is on his back he only last a hour.. should I still keep him on his back. I feel so bad because he is so tired. But for what ever reason he can't stay asleep. I mean he turns his head from side to side and he is able to pick his head up off the mattress for quite some time... idk I'm scared of sids but I also want him to sleep and get satisfied sleep 😩.

@towens921, yea I was doing that and he started to break free from it. Idk how lol.

@sheneque1990, i usually just let it happen and I check every hour but I'm scared while I'm sleep something could happen. 😩
My baby sleeps on his tummy alot too. But when I'm trying to get a good sleep without always checking on him I swaddle him on his back and he sleeps pretty good like that. He gets his best sleep on his tummy though.
Not sure if you have one, but my son slept in a rock n play up until this week (getting too big for it), it was a life saver !! @sharondeshonta
I'm so paranoid about Sids as well, my 5 month old sleeps on his back because the doctor said that he shouldn't sleep on his stomach until he rolls from his back to his stomach by himself but I feel your pain with the whole sleep thing😭😅 sucha good tummy sleeper, horrible on his back. @sharondeshonta
if he is comfortable sleeping on his stomach then thats fine
