my nephew used to drool alotttt when he was younger, his dr said it was because he was being kissed on the mouth too much. idk how true that is but it went away after a while when he got a bit older

I doubt it's teething but could be. It's just a developmental thing. Every baby goes through it around this time. their saliva glands kick in over drive you will notice starting to put their hands in their mouth as well . Very normal just another stage your baby will go through
