went in to the hospital on the 25th of july, had two cervidil doses every 12 hrs. doctor came wanted to give me a c-section and i begged her to wait another day. she said she would givr me a 3rd cervidil if i wasn't in dialated. i was barely 1 cm dilated. and they started the pitocin early in the morning of the 27th. my water broke and by 11 am i was ready to push. i dilated fast on the pitocin. 2 hours of pushing and my baby was born at 140. i was induced because i had cholestasis which is very harmful to the baby. i read many articles and asked several moms who had multiples about inductions. and they all said that it hurts like a motherfucker. it's true, it was so painful, i had an epidural and still felt everything. but everyone is different. some handle pain better than others. i thought i could because i had surgery a few years back and that was extremely painful. just try to sleep as much as you can and relax. walk if you can, they wouldn't let me, specially after the epidural. but after my baby was out, the pain was instantly gone. i was amazed. hopefully everything goes well with yours, and that you and your baby stay healthy 😊

I had to be induced at 41 weeks and was scheduled to go in at 11am on a Thursday but no beds where available untill 4pm. So I went got checked in, got in my room and they got the iv, contraction monitor belt, blood pressure cuff on and started then signed paperwork then my dr ordered me this small 2 1/2 pills to be inserted in my kookah every few hours to start dilating(which was painful cause they felt sharp when they where putting it in) then when I ran out of those they started giving me pitocin (drug to start up the process of contractions) through my iv and up'd the dose every two hours I think it was. I didn't really feel anything untill later that night but the contractions were like bad mentral cramps which I took on like a champ cause my period cramps where always bad so I was use to the pain and was still comfortable. They also kept checking if I was dialated every few hours, I was stuck at 3cm for awhile. Then the next day Friday my dr came in swept my membranes then later on broke my water and put a catheter in since I got an epidural. When they checked me I went from 3cms to 8cm then hour later I went to 9cm but told me to tell them till I had to poop then that would be the sign. I guess they wanted me to have gravity or something have the baby come down as far as possible by herself to prevent more pushing. An half an hour later I told them I had pressure and they checked and she was right there. The whole process took about 23 hours and I pushed for 20 minutes. I had a good labor and delivery and the healing process is the worse part of it all, people really don't tell you what it's like. Don't really remember the order of everything but I wish u the best and Ull do fine. Everything you go through will be worth it once you see your baby. 😊

I wasn't dilated at all when I went in to be induced on a Monday night. I had the same thing she had put in my cervix, called cytotech. It's to help soften your cervix. After one dose in my cervix, they gave me the same thing but orally to help soften my cervix some more. The next morning they had me on Pitocin for 12 hours up to a 22. I did not progress at all. When having my cervix checked on Tuesday, my water broke. I was able to eat Tuesday night (A light dinner) Before hooking me back up to the machines and monitoring me. On Tuesday night I had the balloon inserted into my cervix to help dilate me, it hurt pretty bad, gave me a lot of pressure, and was very uncomfortable. They gave me medicine to help with the discomfort. on Wednesday they started the Pitocin again, I finally decided to get my epidural. They had me on my hands and knees to flip the baby Sunnyside up. I was 30 minutes from a C-section when I fell a bunch of pressure and ended up having my son after 11 minutes of pushing at 10:01 PM on Wednesday night. I then ended up back in the hospital a week later with a uterus infection, it was the worst pain of my life. I did not have a very good labor experience, especially because I had preeclampsia, but I hope you have a good and safe delivery!❤️ @yulianna007
