What are the odds that a sonographer can't tell the sex of the baby at your 20 week anatomy scan?

Pretty low, unless baby's legs are crossed or the umbilical cord is in the way

50/50 ... i didnt find out till the day i had my baby because the way my baby was laying

Well it's possible if the baby isn't in a good position or if the cord is in the way but unless they don't know what they're looking for they should be able to. I found out at 13 weeks by a 2d ultrasound.

I have my 20 week scan next Friday and I'm scared they won't be able to tell lol

You'll more than likely find out, if baby isn't in a good position they'll usually let you move around to try and get him/her to move so they can see. When I went in to find out he was being stubborn and had his little legs crossed she had me get up and walk and get on all fours and he moved so we could see (:

lol. good! That helps ease my mind a little. I really hope the little thing isn't stubborn. I'm so anxious to find out!

I'm having mine tomorrow (19 weeks) my dr said they've never had an issue finding the gender or accidentally getting it wrong. I'm so excited. hopefully it goes good for you

they saw the gender for us today and I'm 20 weeks.

i found out at 14 wks

It all depends on the baby and the tech.
