who gives their infant tylenol before their shots??

My doctor gave us a prescription for a cream called lidocaine to put on her legs prior to the shots it numbs the area and helped a lot. She only cried a little bit. Then I gave her Tylenol maybe only once or twice after the highest her temperature reached was 99 but other then that she slept most of the time after. Very little fussing.

Mu doctor told us to give before shots. I guess it just depends

@chickpea83, ty .. I gave it to her when she had her 2 month shots and she was fine but after hearing all the rumors I'm like ok should I or not lol. @mamapenguin yeah I've heard so too but I really would hate the fever

Our doctors tell us not to give until after, I guess it can mask some of the things they need to look for afterwards?
