4lb 8oz at 34 weeks. small or no?

yes he is perfectly healthy and everything else was perfectly healthy during my pregnancy besides him being on the smaller side. @curvymommy

@godsjoi, my son was a week late and born 7.11lbs. so he would have been small if he was on time. my midwife is concerned because of my BMI but everything has been perfect my entire pregnancy

My daughter was on the small side & my son isn't. I think girls tend to be smaller than boys anyway though.

and is perfectly healthy @jasmine98 ? everything else about me and baby is perfectly healthy she is just smaller.

my son was on the small side, but me and his father are both small so my Dr wasn't to concerned. he now weighs 8 pounds 13 ounces and will be 5 weeks tomorrow

thank you @godsjoi @jasmine98 my midwife wants another more "in depth" ultrasound because she says she is on the small side.

I had my son at 37+4 and he was 5 pounds 12 ounces, I think your babies weight is normal

I feel like that's average. At 33 weeks, my son was measuring 5.5lbs & he was two weeks ahead.

that's what I was thinking too @towens921 she has to be in the normal range.

I had my baby at 34 weeks and he was 5lbs 15oz and that was kinda big so I'm thinking that's a good size
