Fiancé started a new job where he's gone 12 hours a day if not longer and I'm struggling trying to get things done without being able to hand off the baby. My son cries every time he's not being held and it kills me to listen to him cry while I attempt things like laundry and dishes.

Yes! What @carlitojrmami said.... wear him. Does he take long naps during the day? Or just cat naps? I understand your pain. My husband is gone for about 12 hours a day Monday-Friday as well and it can get stressful when she only wants to be held.

I know how hard it is. I'm trying to clean for company over the weekend and I just can't seem to get a damn thing done. between my son refusing to take a nap and the lack of motivation this house is gonna be a wreck.

I feel your pain! I wear my baby too but the back pain is bad.

I'll have to try that and see how it goes I have a wrap I just haven't used it yet. He takes small cap naps through the day and the minute he wakes up and realizes I'm not holding him he loses it. @jleightutt

Do you swaddle him when he sleeps?

Also, other moms have recommended putting a heating pad down for about 10 minutes before you put him down and then removing it when you lay him down.

@jleightutt, tried swaddling him but he doesn't like anything on his feet so he kicks until he's loose. Never heard about using a heating pad but I'll give it a try.
