Any mom's take the depo shot? What are your views on it?

I was on it for over a year & I have nothing bad to say about it. I did gain weight but I was a 120 & went up to 150 but the weight looked good on me(hips & butt) it works differently for everyone. I didn't spot or bleed. In fact my period stopped for the entire time I was on it.

DONT DO IT. I can't stress it enough. I was on it a little over a year and went from 105 lbs to 155. I also bled a lot if I didn't get it right when I was suppose to, I'd spot for weeks. My friend got it and it made her left ovary twist and she was heavily bleeding and in so much pain she couldn't get out of bed for weeks

Lots of negative side effects and I got pregnant on it. My son is now 8 months old.

I took it for a short time, I didn't like it I spotted every day it was annoying.

I wouldn't recommend it, I was on it for over a year. look up all the side effects and what it does to your body over time.
