Have any of you got a milk sore on your nipple ? If so how long does it last I called and talked to the lactation lady and she told me how to take care of it and it's best to still let him eat from it so I have. It's just always sore when he first stars eating of that side he popped it open when eating and it's been a week almost and it's still there and sore and my right breast when I put my nursing bras back on after words it hurts and threw out the day it throbs. I just don't know what else to do.

I've never heard of a milk sore. But when my nipple are sore i will soak them in a salt water solution, pat dry, then hand express some milk. Then let it air dry. That always helps. I hope that helps you Hun.

Maybe let it be exposed to air as much as possible if you can go braless and I wouldn't put anything except milk. sounds painful, hope it gets better soon!
