Pretty sure my water just broke.. Do I wait for contractions or do I go in right away?

i would say wait.for contraction😁 good luck

You're suppose to go right away in case of infection. (You have time to eat and shower)

no go in once your water breaks its a chance of a infection

if your water broke or you think it did go in asap. they can check to make sure it did. your at risk for infection

Yeah go in. My water broke and they didn't even let me wait but a couple hours before giving me pitocin because I wasn't progressing and they worried about infection. They even only checked me twice for dilation because of the risk of infection. Good luck 😆

@crazytoast, same here they let me go for like 6 hours before they said nope your getting pitocin. I was only dilated to 3cm.

@babygirl71716, I didn't even get that long 😕 it took 12 hours and two minutes from the time my water broke till he was born lol after they told me not to be surprised if it took three days 😮

@crazytoast, my water didn't fully break, it was leaking from the top of the bag. I wasnt even gonna go in lol. if it weren't for us walking to Walmart and my feeling like I peed, I would've just stayed home. I had mild contractions nothing serious. it didn't get real until AFTER pitocin. they put me at 12ml and holy hell I wanted to die. I didn't even get a chance to get an epidural.

@babygirl71716, yeah they gave me pitocin and then told me I was only feeling cramps not even real contractions 😑 I thought I was going to die lol. @jessicasnelson good luck! 😃
