@mrs_velez it's when you don't experience any pain with contractions. just BH type tightening. I've heard of a few people that almost didn't make it to the hospital because they didn't know their contractions were real
It's a myth that giving birth has to be painful, fear and tension during labor inhibit our natural rush of hormones and our ability to naturally and peacefully give birth. Home is a very safe environment to give birth in.
I was in labor for 27 hours on pitocin and never felt a thing, couldn't even tell when I was contracting (my contractions were every 2-3 minutes). I never asked for pain meds and slept most of the time

Me, I went to 4cm and didn't know it and even in full labor didn't feel them.

My doctor told me my body was made to have babies, she even had to tell me when to push because I couldn't feel when I was contracting
