I am so over my boyfriend's mother so we just came from our Wed dinners that we have every week and she starts getting pissed at me saying that what is my reason for being if I don't do my boyfriend's kids laundry. I'm sorry but if it's laundry day and I tell all 5 kids to bring their laundry so I can do the wash and he decides to ignore me and keep watching t.v. then you better believe that he will be turning off the tv and doing his own laundry. That is the consequence his dad and I decided to place. Am I wrong mama's? This is by far hard, being a stepmother and trying to instill responsibility in the kids when their own mother lets them do as they please

How old are the kids? I don't agree with everyone saying they're not your kids so it's not your job, if you're involved with someone with kids you do the same for their kids as you do for your own. But I don't think it's too much to have that rule, bring down your basket or it doesn't get done. It's not his moms business though, so she shouldn't have said anything. I have my stepson bring down his basket when I'm about to do it
If my kids don't bring their baskets when I ask, I don't wash their clothes. Simple as that.
Considering you aren't married to him it isn't your job to even do their laundry.... so I feel like she needs to step back and let y'all two handle what goes on in the house....
It's not your job to do anyone's laundry. Kids can do a lot for themselves! My 3 and 7 year old Stepkids have chores. Age appropriate, but still chores! We are not raising spoiled brats who think things should be given to them. We live a very nice life but that doesn't mean they don't contribute to the household. She needs to back off with the comments!!

Transgender children
So I just learned that in my kids school district (my kids aren't in school yet my oldest will be starting kindergarten next September) there are twin boys who identify as girls. They are 5 years old. What's your opinions on this matter given they are 5!!! I don't believe that at that age they really understand the whole thing. My friend posted this on facebook last night and said her kids were asleep within minutes. It's a song that scientists created to help people fall asleep. I was skeptical but I thought what the hay, I'll try it out. I didn't bank on Dh falling asleep, but both him and lo were asleep by minute 2. And lo slept six straight hours. ?

I had a stillborn daughter at 38 weeks this passed Nov. This is my second month ttc. (Last month we only tried for like two weeks though). My last and only pregnancy, I got pregnant the first month of ttc so I hope it's quick this time again.
