need suggestions.... So at work we have a drink thief. Any time we put a drink in the fridge it disappears. I swear I know who it is. So far he's taken drinks from everyone that works in the office, we even put a sign to not take anything you didn't pay for and wrote our names on the drinks. The person I think is taking them works out of the office so we never get to see who is drinking them.
I don’t think we would have been able to move if I didn’t have my stay at home job, we would still be in a neighborhood with our house getting broken into. I’m so thankful and blessed to have found a legit home job so my kids don’t have to go to day care, counting my blessings daily
Random but serious question for SAHMs who don't work. If yall want to buy something do yall just buy it or do yall ask your hubby/SO first?
Been getting comments about my weight alllll week at work by the woman I care fors family (: got told today I’d be so beautiful if I would just loose all my weight . Time to go starve myself for the next year :)))))
Religion Conspiracy/Theory **This is not to bash peoples religion and beliefs but to talk about our own theories and ideas** I would like to discuss a certain topic that came to mind after talking to my SO. I know some of you ladies like a good conspiracy talk so i would like to have a good discussion and hear thoughts of others. So back story my SO friends got very offended when he mentioned not believing in god or religion and it got me thinking. Is religion a failing form of goverment control? Religion and goverment have been operating for a very very very long time and co existed together. So back before church and state were seperated the goverment and religious officals worked together create ideals that would be implemented into the lives of every person they can get a hold of and spread it from one person to another thus the population would act a certain way and follow everything the church had to say and those who opposed it with diffrent beliefs and religion would get killed. Once the people started questioning their actions they created the devils image to have people fear something greater and get their attention away from them. So they justify their "sins" by doing it in the name of god and since they are doing it for god then its ok because they are cleaning the world of evil. So to present day church and state is somewhat seperated now and less people are starting to not believe in god or any religion (including my SO and i) that promote fear to have people act a certain way or they will suffer for all eternity. So back to the question do you think its possible that religion is starting to be a failing form of goverment control?

Honestly if you don't have a lot of friends and family to hang out with it can be very lonely.

that was one of my worries always being "free" when people are at work and just being super lonely... but i figure there's a lot of sahm so play dates or just hangouts with them. but i also know finding he right fit with other moms isn't easy. @polkadotcutie

I have been a SAHM for a year now and sometimes I feel like I am going to go absolutely crazy! But Most of the time I love it. I am very grateful that I get this time with my boys because they are growing up so fast! I also don't have anyone to watch my kids even if I did work and I don't trust day cares lol. Maybe start by just working 2 days a week first?

To be very honest I don't come across many SAHM being one myself. I go to mommy groups and have play dates but even then I still get lonely. I go to three different groups and I only really talk to one mom. SAHM world is tough because other moms will try to compete on everything. I stopped going to one of them because I would always leave crying. They would always try to see who had the best stroller, designer bag, shoes, car, nannies. I love spending time with my daughter but the lack of social communication is hard.

I'm a stay at home mom and have no family or friends around me. It can be lonely but watching my little girl everyday is such a blessing. I get to see all the new things she discovers and does its like I don't miss a thing she does.

@polkadotcutie, holy cow moms are so brutal!!! i'm sorry for your not so great experiences! i don't know if i'd even care about those competing moms. i just think that have an unhappy home life maybe so they are just mean moms..

@babynessa, which is what i want. i don't want to miss his first anything. i already will be missing a lot bc i still work currently and i can't not work right now.

@mommy_faith, i don't trust daycares either. unless they are like ridiculously expensive i don't think they will treat kids good so that right there is an advantage we don't have. also if i could just try out 2 days a week i would but it's a full time job and government.. wouldn't be allowed that

@jazzyjazz, so i guess for the most part being a sahm is lonely?

Then I would quit momma!! It can be lonely I guess but I'm usually not. My boys and fiancé are all I need and they sure as hell need me! Lol I'm too busy to be lonely! Your sweet boy will only be a baby once and i can guarantee that you won't regret staying home with him but you might regret going to work and missing out on things!

I'm a sahm and love it so far. I've always been an introvert so I don't mind the sahm life. I live in the country pretty secluded and see my in laws once a week. So I can see how some people may get lonely , but if you live close to family and friends you don't have to live the lonely life lol. It's totally preventable, plus you get to see all your babies milestones and watch them learn and grow its amazing!

I don't like being a sahm I have done it twice and I don't like it. I like working but be off on weekends. And off by 5. I feel I am more clear headed when I am away from the kids for a few hours of the day. Being able to socialize with other adults.

love being a sahm but then again I want to work part time too. But like others say I wouldn't want others to take care of my son..I've seen how some daycares operate.

You'll always have something to do! You will never be bored! Being a SAHM is the best thing that I've ever decided on. You will bond more with your baby, and get him on a better sleeping schedule. You'll be able to witness all the milestones that you could possibly miss at work.
