every time I wake up in the middle of the night I'm laying on my back but when I go back to sleep I lay on my sides. I know laying on your back is bad.. so will that effect the baby or anything?
I will 😊 and it's good that you know alot @tripletroublemom I'm still learning alot lol
@mybabychloe011017 no problem hun. If u have any othet questions just ask I'll answer best I can my pregnancy classes taught me a lot I try to help the best I can.
laying on your back is only harmful when uve been that way for a long time n u get short of breath dizzy or fast heartbeat. I can't lay on my sides long because of pressure so I go side to side then back for a little while to relieve pressure. just elevate your head don't lay flat on your back. if u wake up on your back its totally fine ur body will wake u up if something is wrong. its a nerve and vein in your back that transfers blood and stuff to your upper body and it gets compressed when u lay on ur back. my doctor said its fine unless it makes u light headed.
No they say it's not good to sleep in your back for circulation purposes but if you roll back on your side then you are fine @mybabychloe011017
I use to put pillow under my back. so even if I tried to roll on my back ot wouldn't work
can that harm the baby though? @macdeddy05
don't feel bad I use to end up on my back even if I laid on my side I think the baby makes us do it. because I was never a back sleeper anyway. but in my first and second trimester I would end up on my back@mybabychloe011017
well either way it won't hurt anyone. just do what you normally would. you can also put a pillow along your back when your on your side so you know when your on the pillow youre on your back
not when I'm in a dead sleep. @2queenbee9 otherwise I do feel it and roll over.
My question is how do you not realize it? You dont feel the pressure?
how can I not go onto my back when I'm sleeping and do not realize it? @2queenbee9
You just shouldn't do it because it isn't good for you or the baby
for some reason when I fall asleep I keep winding up laying on my back. is that safe? aren't I not supposed to lay on my back for long periods of time?
for the past 2-3 weeks, I cant breathe, I literally cant sleep, I cant lay back, when I went for my sono today I could barely lay back I had to sit up after laying back for 30sec, I even started sweating and I am hot all the time..can anybody tell me if this is normal?...im 33weeks 4days
