I'm in the hospital to be induced since my blood pressure was somewhat high. They gave me cervadil at 5 pm to help soften my cervix and get labor going. The monitor is showing that I've been having contractions consistently every 2 minutes for at least an hour now but all I feel is a very slight pulsing. I don't think I'd even notice if I wasn't trying to focus on it and if I wasn't hooked up to a monitor. Shouldn't they be at least a little painful considering they're getting so close together? I'm wondering if I'm just lucky and they aren't gonna hurt as bad as most people?

I got the cervix gel to start my contractions around 8 pm and they didn't start to hurt until like 2-3 am, and the pitocin only makes them stronger so you'll feel em eventually

trust me, give it time. you'll feel them. especially if they get you started on pitocin. I got an epidural when I was only dilated to 3 because of that stuff.
