Can getting a pedicure induce labor? (Not trying to induce myself at all) just a weird fact I heard & I get pedicures all the time and now I'm scared I'll go into labor while trying to get my toes done 😂😂

My mom swears by it. Pedicure with extra massage. There's pressure points in your ankle that can induce labor.

It's just the rubbing of the lower ankles that makes something react and tell your body it's ready. It's a nerve or something down there. Also something in your lower back too.

They say if they hit a certain spot. But I believe it's only if your body is ready to go into labor. I got one around 36 weeks and was fine.

hahaha id be afraid my water would break like mid painting or right in the middle of the lady scrubbing my feet lmao but i never heard it inducing labor. i know if you get a regular massage and not a prenatal one itll send you into labor

@ceeasquared, @amirandagarcia7 dang and the way my ankles been feeling lately I need those massages but I won't risk it no more if it's true or not. I'll just tell them not to massage my foot or ankles

I got pedis once a week while preggo & the night I went into labor, I had gotten a Pedi that morning. lol so he must have hit a certain spot that particular time.
