Mommies!
Is it okay to add maybe a teaspoon to a 2 month olds formula?
I don't usually add cereal till about 4 months BUT my little boy 9 weeks old is now acting unsatisfied with eating 8 oz! I feel that's too much formula, but if he's hungry I'm gonna feed him, but I'm thinking of just adding a little bit of cereal to his formula to avoid "over feeding" him.
Thoughts? & please no mom shaming on this or I will block you, be mature adults.
when my cousin was born she wasn't getting satisfied and the nurses actually mixed in cereal at the hospital. like others have said, check in with pediatrician first because it can constipate our little sweeties
I think you should give it a try and see how it works out for you both :)
As you said and know they say 4-6 months. But I feel that is alot of formula too. I know some have added cereal to bottles for this reason and/or their pedi told them to. Honestly you're the mama you do what you think is best no matter what anyone says. My 3 month old only eats 4 ounces lol. A teaspoon of cereal isn't much anyway. Baby will probably be fine.
give it a try, but if you're not sure consult with your doctor
