how does your babies take naps? I'm trying to leave him in the cot till he crys himself to sleep bcz he's soo dependant on me to rock him to sleep I feel soo bad hearing him cry it's been nearly an hour should I continue or pick him up nd put him to sleep like I normally do or leave him till he's quite but I don't think he will stop crying 😐 I'm soo confused he's 7 months Btw plz someone help I'm a first time mum
he cries nd stops nd looks around so I think he's fine but I still feel bad yhh I heard about that I just searched it up I will try that bcz I cnt do this method I feel really bad :(
I do a more controlled crying / leaving method as I can't bare to leave them crying until their distressed. I go in after 5mins, lay them back down, stroke their face, say goodnight & walk back out. Then I'll try & leave it 10mins, 20mins etc. If their crying really badly I won't leave it that long I'll go back on after a few minutes but I never pick them up. But I always go back. So they start to learn you will go to them to reassure but not to pick up. What works for one baby won't another but I've done this with both my boys @abzx786 This doesn't work over night. It takes consistency. There also may be nights they still get upset but I always stuck to it 😊
how do u guys put ur babies to sleep in the cot by themselves if any of u guys do
If i come in front of him now he will just stop crying :/ so he just wants me tbh
hey yhh I'm good thanku, yhh he cries then stops crying looks around then crys again soo confused it been an hour nd he's crying the same way I mean I want him to learn that if he cries without a reason I will not pick him up nd he has to learn to sleep but he keeps climbing on his cot nd crying... nd yh the mobiles on but it will auto shut any min he's not even focusing on that I'm soo confused I don't want to give in
hay hun hope your OK. personally if he is just crying because he can I'd leave him. it's hard I know but it's the only way he will learn. but this is your choice and people with give you different opinions so go with what's best for you both. I'm a firm mum but that's from what I was bought up with. has he got a cot mobile or anything to entertain him? xxx
Yesterday I went out with my boyfriend went to watch a movie, me and him don't live together yet. but point is yesterday when he was dropping me off his like sleep over at my house witch the mom and dad lives. I said no,
his response was why is everyone deciding or making choices for you and their going to do the same with the baby, when I know that's not true. what he thinks is that my mom tells me not to sleep over. So he left all mad. and I felt in my heart that he went on and cheated on me...
opinions?
I told Jeff I want to leave. He said that he doesn't love me and I feel the same way about him. However when I asked him if I could keep paying my share of the bills while saving enough to leave he said if I'm going to leave I need to go now. This is what he always does. He says he doesn't want me but when I try to leave he manipulates me.
Okay, mommas I need to vent to someone please..
So my fiance goes to his Co workers house (female) at 1:30pm to leave for work, they work about 55 mins from home.. she doesn't have to be there till 3pm.. and he doesn't have to start till 4pm... they usually get off at 1:30am. Now they moved it to 2:00am.. (what he says.) He doesn't get home till 4:00am.... am I wrong for wondering why it takes so long for him to get home??? I want to mention something but I know he will get real defensive about...
I give up. I'm done trying get him to follow thru with anything. he says well have a good night tonight and he's sleeping. he's been sleeping since 6. he always wants foot rubs and back rubs, and I stay up till 2AM doing his laundry, I wake up early to make his lunch and coffee. And I even wake him up to feed him so he doesn't go to bed hungry, I make sure he has everything for work, and I pretty much do everything. he spent his entire paycheck last week and I gave him the only 50$ I had to my n...
Some parents do and that's fine I'm not against it. But I just couldn't leave my boys to cry that long. Everything in me wants to go in & reassure them. But I also know the importance of them learning to self soothe & if their fed, clean & safe then they don't always need to be picked up. I find by going in they know your there for them but they soon learn crying won't get them picked up / rocked off all the time.
