okay please help. I had a c-section on 9-2-16 I had a #2 finally that Tuesday it was awful!! And and had one Thursday. But I have not had one since today makes 5days without one. Friday morning I woke up with sharp pain between my lower left side and my tummy. went back to L&D I was in so much pain I was crying it's taking my breath. They said I'm backed up and gave me white powder stuff to put into water for got what it's called. but it's not working. and the pain is NOT going away and I can't take it any more. anyone know what I can do it get this out!!????

@ssdj4, they had 2 push at the same time and it was like she was making bread from scratch, just twisting and squeezing and pushing down on it. I threatened one that if she kept in she was gonna get punched

They didn't make me BM but I did have to "pass gas" in order to eat solids. I never was happier in my life to let one go😂 @karstenal

I had stool softners everyday I was in hospital after my c section (August 18) & they gave me fiber pills... But I had to have a BM before they'd release me so I got a suppository because I was too scared to go/push. They also pushed on my stomach to help uterus. Once I got home I had no problem going the bathroom

they just pushed on mine twice quickly to make sure it was shrinking. it wasn't as uncomfortable as I read it would be. @ariliyahzihmommy3

@ssdj4, wow, yea with my 2nd born (first cs) I don't recall them giving me laxatives either..idk when I had my first poop guess when I did it didn't hurt or If remember. Hospitals are so different, just like the nurses at mine..pressed my stomach so hard for several mins to make my uterus shrink. it was awful!!!!! @ssdj4

not that I felt or can remember...idk y some hospitals do things so differently, it's hard to tell what's right to do or not @mrsgraves

try a vegetable laxative like Senekot..that's what I was told to take after I had my daughter..it worked wonders for mi @mrsgraves

@ariliyahzihmommy3, they told me no on the laxative pills bc they make you cramp. did they make you cramp?

Oh wow...they gave me laxative pills every morning with my iron pill and pain medication (4 days) that I stayed. Try taking laxative pills or buy some tea that helps with constipation. I see alot @mrsgraves in Walmart or Publix

Get some laxative pills. They didn't give you laxative pills daily while you were in the hospital after baby? They did with me and I had my first BM 6 days later..didn't hurt.
