Ladies quick question when washing new baby stuff before baby arrives are you only washing the…

I washed all newborn stuff (first baby) but I don't think it was actually necessary. I didn't wash any 0-3 stuff. I did plan to but just didn't bother xx

@angie87, @kmcf2302 thanks ladies, I've got a basket full there but that's all I'm doing, newborn and upto 3 month, plus her Moses basket bedding and chicco next2me bedding, that will do won't it lol xxx

@angie87, @kmcf2302 would you separate the pale pink with white??? I have a lot of all white, then white with pink on ? If they are washed on 40 degrees they shouldn't run should they lol?

I'm just washing everything as I get it. I don't want to create more work for my self once she's here x

@emmaelaine, well I've put a white wash on there, and I'll put a pale pink/white one on after, and that's me done lol I'll just wash as I go after that I think xx

I never separate whites 🙈 never have with my own clothes, too lazy 😂 I've never had any mishaps so far xx

@mother_of_humans, the colour catcher things sound good, I didn't wash any new stuff when I had my son 13 years ago lol. But when I asked in here about why people do it they said cause of chemicals on the new clothes, so thought it best, and even though I didn't realise it does say wash before use on the labels. I'm not doing anymore though, just this two loads. I have got fairy non bio pouches and fabric conditioner and I love the unstoppables so I'm using them too xxx
