As this is my 3rd mine was here for like 10-15 minutes... asked a few questions or If I had any and that was that... I think it lasts longer if your a FTM as you haven't been through it all before & also so they can introduce them self so they aren't a complete stranger when they turn up after you have had the baby & it helps them pick up on signs of post-natal depression xx

My friend had her health visitor pop in last week. She just wanted to no if she had everything and any worries or questions she wanted to ask. I think it's mainly just see how ur feeling and getting to no the person who will be checking in on things once baby is born. Iv got my visit next week x
