My kids are 2 years apart..and let me tell u I wished I've would've waited until he was about 4 so he can understand more!..my son is a mommas boy and he felt left out I was so sad the first couple of days he's d ignore me because I guess he felt that I replaced him 😢😫 I was exclusively breastfeeding which was harder cause I had my baby girl constantly with me..and my son needed attention too..it's good now he loves her and dosent get jealous as much..but it's like he's still a baby even though he's a toddler he needs a lot of attention and attending to both is hard...just think before really hard 🙂

Yes it's hard but luckily my daughters doing pretty well!!! when my son is sleeping my daughter is extra clingy and wants attention but that's about it! I make sure during one of my sons naps I either take my daughter to the park if my husband's home or if not we turn on Pandora's toddler dance radio and have a dance party together and when he sleeps from about 6:30-8 we watch a movie and cuddle! That way she gets her one on one time as well!!

@autumnrae, see that's what scares me I don't want our daughter to think we are replacing her and her feeling left out she's our first baby girl and we spoil her and give her all our attention and I don't want her thinking we don't care ugh it's just so hard lol

mine are 16 months! the little one is 3weeks! My daughter gets a little jealous and doesn't fully understand but loves her brother and tries to share her food and toys and gives him kisses and checks on him when he cries! She even gets mad and yells mom and points at him if I don't get up to get him fast enough! I think the hardest part was the pregnancy for me! I had bad morningng sickness and would throw up every time I changed a dirty diaper, I would be so nauseous I could hardly play with my daughter without throwing up and just mentally and physically exhausted from the pregnancy I felt that I could not give my daughter as much attention and play time as she needed! I was also put on partial bedrest for a complete placenta previa and was told not to lift ANYTHING over 10lbs and my daughter weighed 18at the time so I was always worried about my son when I picked up my daughter! It is all worth it of course though! I love both my kids and would do it all again even though it almost killed me!

It's recommend that you wait at least 18 months before getting pregnant again so your body can fully heal. But it's always up to you.. 😊
