QUESTION
So I got Nexplanon put in around June . My doctor didn't tell me when it would kick in and I had it put in before I got my period. We had sex right after I had it put in on that night . I've had head aches , pains , and felt movements . But I though the movements might just all be in my head , or gas . Is it possible I'm pregnant?

Ya I had the depo shot. Planned parenthood (where I got it) told me to wait 72 hours. I had sex on the 4th day and ended up pregnant. My Obgyn said I should have waited AT LEAST 7 days.
I'm sorry she didn't inform you. When I had mine put in I asked the doctor when it would work and she told me "instantly, don't worry" but that's not true. Some times doctors suck. I'd get a cheap test.
@bonniesue, she didn't tell me that ( my dr ) and we didn't use any other form and I didn't have my period until 1-2 weeks later .

I've just started temping because I believe that the reason I haven't had a BFP yet, after 20 months, is because I believe I may have a Luteal Phase Defect.

So I just learned that in my kids school district (my kids aren't in school yet my oldest will be starting kindergarten next September) there are twin boys who identify as girls. They are 5 years old. What's your opinions on this matter given they are 5!!! I don't believe that at that age they really understand the whole thing. My friend posted this on facebook last night and said her kids were asleep within minutes. It's a song that scientists created to help people fall asleep. I was skeptical but I thought what the hay, I'll try it out. I didn't bank on Dh falling asleep, but both him and lo were asleep by minute 2. And lo slept six straight hours. ?

I had a stillborn daughter at 38 weeks this passed Nov. This is my second month ttc. (Last month we only tried for like two weeks though). My last and only pregnancy, I got pregnant the first month of ttc so I hope it's quick this time again.
I used condoms for like 2 weeks after my nexplanon was put in just to be safe. I so far have not gotten pregnant on it.
