I wish my midwife would at least induce at 40 weeks...

if I happen to make it to my due date I really don't want to have to wait another week and 3 days before she induces me.

I'm due Thursday and I really don't think my baby will be here by then If I have to be induced I would love it to be like maybe 2 days after my due date not until I'm 41 weeks.. is that selfish😕

I definitely get it more than a lot of people because I went as late as possible. Just remember that they won't let you go past 42 weeks. Going to 43 weeks was my choice and my OB felt we weren't in danger. Yours will probably not let you go that far. Many don't.

I'm just so scared that something could happen to her if she stays in too long.. I don't know why this scares me so much but it truly does.. so I'm praying she comes on her own either before Thursday or before 41 weeks.. of course I want her to be healthy and everything but I just can't get the fear of what if you know? @ceeasquared @ceeasquared

@Sarahwilliams My first I went naturally into labor at 41wks 5days and it was a 6hr birth and a breeze as far as births are concerned. My daughter on the other hand I was induced at 43 weeks exactly and had a 16 hour induction, which is considered short where inductions are concerned. Even though I was tired of being pregnant I do wish she would have came on her own.

If I wouldn't have had to be induced I more than likely would have went over. I wasn't dilated or anything when they started the induction process. My sister in law went to 41 weeks with my nephew. && I know a few other people who have went to 41 weeks and everything was perfectly fine. When I was at the hospital waiting to know if I would need to be induced they kept telling me that if I didn't they always prefer the baby to stay in as long as possible. @sarahwilliams

I don't want to be induced.. but if I have to I really don't want to go over 40 weeks.. but I don't have a choice it's just going over 40 weeks scares me because I've heard horror stories about babies who have been in the womb too long and etc.. so it's just a huge fear for me.😔 @ceeasquared @britt16

I was induced and oh my god it was such a long process. I wish I would have been able to go into labor naturally, but I was getting preeclampsia so I had to be induced two weeks early.

I've gone both ways and some people loved their inductions, but in my opinion, induced labors are 100% harder, longer, and have a higher risk of ending in c section
