using used tommee tippee bottle is that bad do they go bad or anything cause my mom got used ones and my husband said they go bad or they shouldn't be used even if I sterilized them

My MIL is planning on staying in the hospital the entire time I’m in labor. I don’t want that. Any tips on how to deal with this? Why can’t my MIL understand that labor is private for us😩 And when the baby is here she’s never going to leave us or the baby alone. She’s really testing my patience😡
