I'm beyond pissed! My husband's manager texted him asking him to come in 4 hours early. He said no he can't today. She said okay when you ask me for a favor, okay no problem. Excuse me bitch first of all that's blackmail! Second you don't ever do him any favors. He asked off to go be with family for his Grandpa's funeral and viewing. was that possible oh no. could he go be with my family when my grandma passed away? oh no. does he get doctor appointments off without you complaining? hell no. Does he get to be with his wife the day after she not only has a baby but a preemie and a c-section? FUCK no. Any time y'all are short, you want him to come in but he never gets the favor in return? HELL FUCKING NO! It's fucking discrimination and I'm tired of the bullshit. It isn't my husbands fault you can't keep employees. Maybe look at how you treat them. Guess who we are talking to and sending the text message to, you little bitch. That's right. Fucking corporate.

That's retaliatory and illegal. My boss used to try to pull that and I'd reply with "I hope that isn't a retaliatory statement you're making because of my inability to come in today, that would be illegal and I hope things don't go to that" and that would shut her up. Legal action scares bosses who are too comfortable trying to play employees
