am I horrible mom for giving my 5 year old "chores"...she really likes to help around the house and always asks to unload the dish washer....so thats a thing she does daily. along with picking up after herself in their room. she also likes to put her laundry away... I swear she acts older than 5 sometimes....she has been a big help since I've had the baby.

I think it's wonderful. Teach them responsibility young. My four year old has chores and has for awhile. It started as putting away her toys when she was done playing and we've slowly added different chores as she's matured. 😊
No, you're a responsible mama!!! We have a 3 year old with chores here lol He has to put his plate away when he finishes eating and he has to make his bed. It builds their character.
Our 2.5 year old, almost 3, has to help out. 😊 He puts his plate in the sink when he's done eating, he helps clean up his toy messes, he even helps put laundry in the dryer and feed the dogs. Little things but he doesn't have any issues helping yet thankfully lolol I know he won't like it soon 😂
