Both me and my OH are in the military and its carnt be helped hun or theyd never have anyone to send away atleast its only a flight away if your that worried ring up welfare and milk it tell them all sorts of shit or see if your other half can get a mate to fill in for him instead xo

Girls it's crazy isn't it! And all they seem to be able to say is "well if you go into labour we'll send him back" and your thinking "well if my waters go or whatever I'm going to have to either phone the guardroom or drive up, get the duty welfares number off them, phone welfare who will then phone wherever he is who will then need to coordinate with transport then the traveling time, by the time all that eventually gets done I'll have given birth and the child will be a day old if we're lucky! Xxx

My fiancé is in the RAF its shit! He's going away for 4 months over Christmas so missing our baby's 1st Christmas I'm devastated! 😓 hopefully he will be back in time for our wedding!!! 😡

My fella works with army and goes away only for a few days thou like the week before am due .. I was like WHYYY! 😩😩 xxx

Worst thing about the army, they tell you it's family first but in actual fact they only care about the number of heads to fill spaces no matter what your situation at home is, most probably why I'm glad me and my OH have both left x

their awful when it comes to family they don't give a shit.. ow noo thays awful luckily he's been here for all scans up to now and most of midwife appointments.. nope no designer baby things:( fingers are crossed for u x

@mummy.to.be.1996, you no just as well as I do that they'll tell you exactly what you want to hear until there away, this is our first aswell and unfortunatly she's an rnr baby so he missed the first 2 scans and every midwife appointment ever, aww so you won't even get any nice cheap designer stuff? There supposed to be going to Kenya next May but I'm praying we'll be reposted just before that xx

the army said they will try their best to keep him here but chances aren't looking great and it's our first baby so does suck ahha no not Cyprus he's been there before though but this times Kenya xx

@mummy.to.be.1996, aww no I so feel for you, lucky mines not that bad, it's not the Cyprus tour is it by any chance? He was sent away to Cyprus over last Christmas around those dates. They've decided that he should go up to the ranges 2 hours drive away for 4 days and then go on some silly nutrition education course for another few xx

definitely know how you feel.. they might be sending my partner away in the 1st November and I'm due 26th :( he will be gone for 6 months! army sucks!
