ok so i need advice.....i had the csection 2 weeks ago and they took the staples out just ome week ago and they put tape stuff over them...when can i actually wash the area and not just let soap and water run over it??? they didnt say

i had a c section and i couldnt wash just let the soapy water run over it i believe i waited at least 6weeks to do so . i did have to have mine reopened tho and it had to heal open. you may be able to do it at 4 weeks pp.
ok well it takes atleast 6wks for it to completely heal....so I would wait to wash the area
mine was pealing off because the way she put them on...i dont have the tape on them now but my husband says it looks healed good.. @alexis_k
it takes a few weeks b4 u can wash it.....it's best to leave the tape til it begins to peel off on its own....when mine peeled off on its own the c section was healed
i had a c section and they had me wash it day 4 i believe i was told buy the nurses to let it air so it won't get affected. 17 days later its gone csnt see it barely can feel it. but i had stitches im not sure if staples & stitches run the same. try calling ur doctor
