What to do if you're breastfeeding and want to drink at night? my husband wants to drink with me tonight and I read online that I don't have to pump and dump, just don't BF until your no longer buzzed then that means that the breast milk is fine after that.

I still pump and dump I skip a feeding pump dump and breast feed after that I usually have a drink or two with my husband every Sunday

You can breastfeed again as soon as you are neurologically normal again. It's different for everyone. If you're worried about it you can by test strips to test your breast milk for alcohol content.

I know it doesn't help you for tonight, but I've been pumping after and inbetween feeds to stock up on milk in case I want to drink.
