On Tuesday at 38 weeks and 1 day my doctor stripped my membranes... it hasn't started labor for me yet though! Hopefully on Tuesday there's at least some really good progress! I was at 1 cm and 30% effaced when she swept my membranes and I've been walking and bouncing on my yoga ball ever since. Nesting has also begun! my house is as clean as it'll probably ever be and my feet are killing me! 😂 I'm so ready for Gunner to make his appearance! I'd love to skip labor though lol and go straight to delivery!

@coltroyalsmama1224, yeah I hope so. I have to call tomorrow to be put on a waiting list for a bed at the hospital to be induced anyway. So I'll be having him sometime soon! Hopefully no later than tomorrow!
@katietay34, Some thing is definitely happening for you! Your cervix is most likely ripening (: They usually don't attempt a sweep until your at least at 2cm. With my first my midwife attempted a sweep at 40 weeks but wasn't fully successful however labor started that same night!(: How exciting for you! I'm sure at your next doctor visit there will definitely be progress if labor doesn't start before then!
I'm 39 weeks on Friday and 1 dilated and 20% effaced. My doctor tried to strip my membranes yesterday but I guess my cervix was too high? But it feels like he did something! My whole body is insanely sore and I've been cramping since then lol.

When did you guys go into labor after getting your membranes stripped ?
So my doctor stripped my membranes to see if it will help me go into labor has anyone had this done if so did it work?
Got my membrane stripped this morning and been cramping ever since.
Tuesday my doctor wants to do a membrane sweep, I've done some research on it and I'm pretty nervous. Has anyone had one before? Was it painful? and how long afterwards did you go into labor?
@katietay34, Aw I'd hate to be induced! I had to schedule that with my first and I was so thankful he came on his own at 40wks 5 dys.
