I charge $150/week/child and I'm significantly less expensive than most places around here. My rent is 1400 so basically my daycare/preschool pays for our rent. If I were teaching outside the home, I would be bringing paychecks home that average $300 after taxes and daycare/preschool on my children. Yet, I still get "why don't you teach anymore. .seems like a waste" line. umm. well.. we live in a society where women literally cannot get ahead so...there's that.

Daycares here in Nebraska are 219+ until your child is 18 mo 😑
