You still need to heal even without stitches. But if your concern is more lack of birth control, don't feel bad about not having sex until you're ready or want to. I'm sure you will be able to find a way to explain it to him and he'll understand.

Just explain him there's a difference between not being able to and not wanting to. Tell him to man up and just wait for you to heal.

Short Luteal Phase?
I've just started temping because I believe that the reason I haven't had a BFP yet, after 20 months, is because I believe I may have a Luteal Phase Defect.
@beccaevans, take care of yourself before him right now. You need to heal. If you don't he will need to wait longer.
