How do I nicely ask my mother in law to not come to my doctors appointment today? I keep asking my fiancé to tell her not to come and he goes "well isn't your mom going? that isn't fair" like yes my mom is going but she keeps her mouth shut and won't be on her phone the entire time recording what my doctor is saying and trying to take photos. It's just less stressful to not have her around. 😑

then I would tell her exactly that. that it's just a lot less stressful for you and you would feel more comfortable without her there. tell her you're not trying to be offensive but your stress levels and your comfortability in your happiness is like number one right now

If u won't tell her ask the doctor to have everyone out of the room period
I thought only 2 people are allowed at the max. those rooms are small lol plus the appointment are super fast why does she need to be there. we need privacy
