I'm so upset. Was sent home from hospital last night with an irritated uterus. Well I'm still getting awful contractions…

I have this and have days where I have contractions for hours that are 3/4 mins apart for a long while that are very strong and painful. It's been going on my whole pregnancy. And my last one it was really bad that they were convinced twice I was in labour as my contractions were up in the 80-90s from 0 on the monitor and very regular. Then they just bloody stop. Drink plenty of water empty your bladder lots and rest up they do stop

@suzie80, is it not the most annoying thing? I was so upset last night when they said my cervix was closed. Iike how in the hell is that possible with the contractions I'm getting? Sigh. I suppose it's a bit too early for him to make an appearance anyway :/ thanks I will try that tho! X

The contractions for labour are a lot worse but these are like early labour contractions that go no where and it's really common. It's just practising the more babies u have the worse it gets mine started before 14 weeks this time. Mine get so strong I can't walk through them and get period cramping really bad too, and th contractions even have a pulling upwards feeling across the bottom of my bump the way labour would. There just not so painful I'm screaming the place down

@suzie80, mine were really painful last night, like from my last labour I would say 3-4 cm dilated kinda pain. Ones that you can breathe through grimacing but not much more. They seem to have tailed off to a light contraction today though so I'm sure that will be more manageable. More felt guilty for waking everyone up at 3am for a false alarm lol :(

@suzie80, @kmcf2302 it can't be nice I'm starting to get period like pains and back ache all yesterday evening and today. The doctor said a woman can start having labour pains for two weeks before delivery, is this true I've never heard that before!!! X
