I'm scheduled for my very first c-section tomorrow morning. I'm scared, nervous and excited all at once! Please pray for me ladies and if you've had a c-section can you please tell me your experience!?
Thank you so much, made me feel a little better @phinnybinz and @michelle2220 because baby is small. He's considered a iugr baby and we found that out at about 36 weeks so they say c-section is safer because it won't stress the baby out.
may I ask why you need one? they're supposed to be for emergencies usually the first time unless you have a very small frame by they usually don't know that till you're in labor
I had one done a little over a week ago. My advice would be to be vocal about how you're feeling throughout the procedure. When I first had anaesthesia I kinda got a little anxious and sick. I felt like I wanted to get up and run away and tell them to do it another day lol...I told them about that and that I was about to be sick. They gave me something (not sure what) but it helped immensely. It felt like it took forever until the major tugging and pulling started. Then they had her out and she was the most important thing in the room. I did start feeling a little pain and they loaded up more meds and then it was over! I spent 2 hours with my baby and SO in PACU. Try to relax and get some rest tonight ☺️
