February 20th I had my baby shower. I was 34 weeks 4 days pregnant. After having on and off BH and real contractions since 30 weeks I started to have sharp cramping throughout my shower. Thinking I was just having BH I continued through the party. 630 pm that night I started to have back pain and nothing was helping ease the pain so I started to time them. they were 10 minutes apart. after a unrestful night sleep with me wanting to punch my husband who was soundly asleep I realized they were probably contractions when they were 5 minutes apart by next morning. Went to the hospital on the 21st where I was admitted for preterm labor 4cm dilated and 100% effaced. 3 days and 2 failed epidurals. Trying to keep me pregnant as long as possible. stalled at 5cm I just wanted to go home but good thing they didn't let me. Day 3 I developed severe preclamscia so I was induced. 15 hrs later February 25th 2016 at 501am, 2 days after my 25th Birthday Hazel Grace made her way into the world at 35 weeks 1 day. weighing in at 7lbs 6 oz
