Just called to select a breast pump and couldn't get the spectra s2...... because its a hospital grade one. Aeroflow said it was covered but my insurance said it wasn't. So I got the medela pump in style advanced. Guess I shouldn't complain about getting something for free, but if it doesn't work I'm paying out of pocket to get the spectra.

I have heard good things about it and honestly I feel stupid for posting this... makes me come off as ungrateful and I'm not. I guess I just had my heart set on that one, but no biggie. There are moms who don't even have insurance and can't get a free pump, or don't have the option to buy one out of pocket if they don't like the one they get from wic. @bria

I guess I really can't complain, it was free after all. It was the only double breast pump they covered.... they should have more options. They only cover hospital grade ones if I have issues pumping of my babies in the nicu. @tayek

I use Medela BUT the Spectra is nice. I prefer the Medela because it's much easier to buy parts and stuff. They have an entire line of stuff to go along with the pumps, and it's sold everywhere.

I've heard good things, but I've heard from people who tried both and said the spectra was better. I guess I'll see. @mdomke22
