Just rang my doctors to see about his 6 week check up, they've given me a date at the end of this month when he'll be 9 weeks old?! He even has his 2 month jabs booked in before that date, and apparently they won't give me a post natal check because they don't do them anymore 🤔😤

@abbylouise, I had my 6week check, at the Drs yesterday, I've just rung and got a 6 weeks health visitor check for the end of the week (he'll be 7 weeks.) and then I have his 8 week & injections at the Drs on the 19th (he'll be 8+4 weeks.) xx
Maybe I only had because I tore... Did you have a straight forward delivery? @abbylouise
Maybe call up & ask for a closer appointment. Make a fuss & say 9weeks is silly, hardly a 6week check!
@sara-lou, they still do 6 weeks checks for babies but not mothers apparently, except my boy will be 9 weeks before anyone sees him because they've changed the date to the end of the month instead of next week 😤 I worried about him getting his injections before being checked over beforehand x
when i had my twins in 2014 they didnt do "6weeks" checks either xx
They still do 6week checks in my area for baby & Mother. I would have thought it was the same everywhere but maybe not... @abbylouise
Ladies who are 36 weeks and further... Does your doctor check your cervix each week? Mine said he's not checking mine until my due date which I think is crazy

I had a stillborn daughter at 38 weeks this passed Nov. This is my second month ttc. (Last month we only tried for like two weeks though). My last and only pregnancy, I got pregnant the first month of ttc so I hope it's quick this time again.
@sara-lou, not exactly, I had a catheter in for a while and had an episiotomy needed a fair few stitches
