Ok so I'm not due back at work until April next year which seems so far away right now but I know it will be here before I know it!

When I went on maternity leave, I was a restaurant manager in Debenhams so I was working 39 hour a week (8-6 five days a week)
I'm having serious thoughts about whether I put my career on hold because I don't want to leave Ethan for 4/5 days a week.
My husband thinks I should stay full time because I've worked so hard to get where I am but I don't like the idea of leaving little one 😩

I just don't know what to do!

Write down all your options @natroberts88 If you went back to what you were doing, or if you did something else. What childcare costs there would be if any if you went back etc. What situation will be better for you as a family. If you have the choice to go back or not then it's just weighing up the option of how you feel about it. I always thought I wouldn't go back & I'd be a stay at home Mum but I went back after 15months. It may have been sooner but we moved areas so I changed jobs. I thoroughly enjoyed getting back to work but I was only working 3days, then went up to 4. It gave us more money to spend on days out & to treat ourselves & Morgan. He thoroughly enjoyed going to nursery. As I was running out of things to do with him 7days a week! It's a bit decision so just take your time & have a good think & chat with your oh about it 😊

@natroberts88, trial it for the first week and see how you go Hun I'm sure there is a way that you can lower your hours isn't there? X
