Am I the only mom out there craving, no not just craving, desperate for a mom-friend to call her own? LOL. I laugh but only because it's so true, it's pathetic. Don't get me wrong, I have friends. I have my husband's college and high school friends' wives and gfs, I have my sister in laws' friends (and ex-friends but that's a story for another day), and I have women that I go to church with and see in passing once in a while during Sunday school pick up or at family group gatherings. But I mean, my own friend. Someone who isn't tied to my husband or his family, someone who is mine. (Not in a stalker possessive sort of way ☺️).

I spend my whole day talking to babies/toddlers. I guess that's not totally true, to mix it up I sometimes chat with the dog and two cats also, technically they are adults. I want a gf to text and say "OMG you'll never believe what my husband just said..." Or "My mom is making me insane..." I want a 911 wine night kind of friend.

Pipe dream I'm sure. I'm too busy to even remember what my hobbies are these days, forget finding someone who shares those hobbies. So maybe I'll vent/share/laugh on here in the middle of the night after my day's work is done. You can be my collective best friend.

Told you it was gonna get sad 😂.
