I'm two weeks in as of tomorrow but last week I was like this for two days and had to pump because it hurts when she latches on and when she eats because of being engorged.. and now I noticed today I'm like that again and pumping isn't helping because I'm only getting like half an ounce out @jgarciamua

Oh you just had your baby thats why! 😅 dont give up! Take warm baths or put something warm in your breast. when i would get engorged i would pump and it would work for me. I would just take a little bit out. Do you have wic? @polancobaby

and he's I'm barely starting.. I didn't think it would hurt this bad.. I have a manual pump and I think that also might be the issue..

Yea i know how bad it hurst i remember crying about it. Since you have WIC you can speak to a lactation consultant to help you out. After i got help from one i knew what to do right away after being engorged @polancobaby

Try hand expressing, it helps a little more than pumping because you're squeezing it out instead of sucking if that makes sense

I just kinda sat forward so my boobs hung, and squeezed my nipples releasing the milk into an empty bottle or my milk containers. If they're super enforced they will probably spray instead of drip so be careful lol and do it like a pump does, squeeze for a second and then stop, don't hold the squeeze too long because it'll just stop releasing milk you have to do it on and off continuously
