Yes they worked for me but they come off so fast I feel like I'm constantly glueing them back on. They don't like them on either they bite at them too. It's a big hassle to get them on because they don't like it@bentleysmomma

Have you tried claw covers? My cats have caused hundreds of dollars worth of damage to my carpets so I got them claw covers, like fake nails for cats. and they're rounded so they cover the cats sharp claws. Way better then getting the cat declawed

I've seen how they take them out too and there are risks but there's risks with everything. They give them a shot for the pain before they leave too. I don't have money to keep buying new furniture lol and im not gonna keep my stuff covered that's silly

I personally don't believe in declawing. However you need to do what's best for your family. After going to school for veterinary medicine I learned that it's better for a cat to have a loving home that declaws it than to be back in a shelter because it scratched up their kid.

I was considering declawing my kitten but idk the age to do it? We just recently bought new couches and a new leather dining room set when my brother brought home the kitten. For the most part he doesn't mess with the chairs but lately he's been scratching at everything and I'm worried he'll ruin the furniture 😖 plus he doesn't mean to play rough but he sure like to claw everyone's feet

I'm gettin mine declawed. They're ruining EVERYTHING. Ruined basically new couches- to the point of no return and ill be damned if I buy new couches for them to be ruined again. They have scratch posts thy still claw everything.

yes I've seen it! but I think there are worse things that get done to animals besides declawing. she would just feel it after the meds wear off. I'm getting new furniture in my house and that's the main reason we're doing is because we're redoing our home before the baby arrives. every cat is different she's a girl and I've read up alot on them getting jealous. and yes I'm going to request it our appointment is next week. @courtt

They have a procedure now where they can cut the tendon to the claw so the cat can keep their nails but have no control over them or extend to use them

The main reason they say it's inhumane is because if she is every accidently let out the house then she won't be able to defend herself from what is out there.

You can request to have your cat numbed or put to sleep to be declawed.

They put cats to sleep to remove claws. My cat has no claws she's a Himalayan big prissy pants and spoiled rotten

Have you see how they get de clawed? And what could happen afterwards? Im not judging or anything i have a cat and my couches are all scratched up but we will never declaw him. We just deal with it lol. And i have a baby and he doesnt get near her at all.
