I washed and ironed all my baby's new clothes when I was pregnant. After he was born I just didn't have the time so any new clothes he was bought he went straight in them. Not ironed a single thing since he was born either 😂 (he's 3 months old)

At the end of the day it's completely up to you. I must admit I've enjoyed washing them all. They're so cute to see hung out on the washing line! 😍

thing is sometimes the new clothes have that new smell where as when u wash them they will have that lovely fresh clean smell I loved that when u can smell that whilst holding your baby , and i have to admit I loved washing them all getting them all read and folding them dunno y haha but yeah everyone to there own x

@xkathrynlouise, it's Upto you at the end of the day but for me it was much more hassle than was necessary. I done it all the last time with the clothes I bought for my daughter and then by the time I had her I never had time to wash the new clothes that other people gave her so I just put them on her new, and she was absolutely fine. That's the main reason I've not bothered lol :P xx

See this is what I was also thinking about @emmaelaine may just go all OCD crazy and wash them all! X

Yeh maybe @xkathrynlouise I never washed clothes for my eldest either. I've not had any issues. Up to you I guess 😊

Ah I may leave them then, I think I'll wash the sleeping bags so they're all lovely and soft but leave everything else. I just read that sometimes some of the chemicals used when making clothes can cause baby to have sensitive skin. Maybe I'm being over cautious @kmcf2302 @sara-lou @daisysmummy @scooby X

I've washed everything so it all smells the same & is super soft. Also I don't like the idea of them being in storage in a warehouse & lots of people touching the clothes in the shop, I'm probably just. But OCD, but you don't know where they've been 🙈

I didn't wash new clothes & I don't iron them either lol. Never had any crease issues as they get hung up. I only washed blankets and any second hand or stored clothes that we kept @xkathrynlouise

Trust me, you won't have time to iron them haha xx

I never iron Daisy's clothes and none of them are creased xx

wash and use a fabric conditioner makes them smell lovey and feel soft , never had to iron vests and sleep suits ul prob find u won't need to unless they have a pattern
