mommys has any of your new borns had jaundice how was your experience with your babys im worry about my baby girls i need some support 😔😔😔😔 please share it with me
My daughter had it. She was 3 weeks early. I sat in the sun by the Windows every time I fed her or let her nap. The light is a good thing for jaundice. I eventually had to get a bilirubin blanket to wrap her in. I hated it but it was best for her. Doc will check levels until baby no longer needs it.
my little girl had jaundice so bad she was literally about a point away from having good to be put under the uv lights. everything turned out perfectly in the end and her jaundice went away.
@2queenbee9, thats a relief thank you very much for sharing this with me it really helps me to calm down and handle this with calm
as long as the baby is improving they are fine. MINE did great at home, they said they wanted to keep him in the hospital but I'm a nurse so i tols them I can do it. most causes it can be handled at home. I wouldnt worry. They are fine. babies are resilant, they can deal with a lot and bounce back
@2queenbee9, aww thats good to hear its just imposible not to worry about my baby
@tiffanyxomarie1, thank god momma i know i feel bad too poor my baby girl
i took my son home jaundice and had a bili blanket, i left him on it all day and I took him twice a day to get blood draws. He he was fine within about 3 days.
thank you mommas it just breaks my hearth seen her in there hopefully we will go home soon
My son had it, but not bad enough to the point that they had to put him under the lights, but he did have to go back 2 days after he was born and have his heal pricked twice so they could check his blood and make sure it was going away, I felt so bad for him because he just cried and cried, but he's fine now! A happy, healthy 8 month old. Hang in there!
I never had a child with it..but I had it when I was born..But my mother says they kept me in the hospital under the lights for a couple days & allowed me to come home..I turned out fine lol..Your baby will be okay :)
my girl had to spend an extra 2 days in the hospital under the lights cause of jaundice. it was heartbreaking watching her under there. hang in there mama💕
My son had it when he was born. it was fine they just had to do like a bunch oftest while he was in the hospital and then after they sent us home he had to come back every day for them to test and they told me to just keep breast-feeding him and then slightly put him in front of the sun for maybe like 15 minutes today and that really helped his levels
my son was under the lights for days, but he turned out fine!
