what can i do for newborn with constipation? 5 days old.
finisbed her antibiotics 2 days since and they was just flushing it out of her. since coming off them its plain obvious its constipation. shes been unsettled and bringing her knees up all day and getting upset. hate not been able to do anything for her :(
my 7 month old is constipated and idk from what 😣 she's been on her formula since birth no problems ! I'm thinking its solids she's been on solids for 2 months now and she's been fussing all day. help me I'm a FTM and don't know what it is that's causing it.

I haven't been constipated since the beginning of my pregnancy and this last week I have been constipated why? I do not know. it sucks!
Anyone go back and forth between being constipated then having a bit of diarrhea for a day then back to constipation? I've been doing this since the begining of this pregnancy
My daughter been constipated for a couple days now.. I tried pears and other fruits and that’s not helping.. any suggestions?

what about a drop of cooled boiled water, my hv said to give Dylan it when he's constipated and it worked a treat x

hv told me to do Oz of cooled boiled water and I think Dylan was 6 weeks old.at the time, you could ask Midwife x

I gave Morgan cooled boiled water as a newborn because he was badly constipated. They don't need water until 6months when they start to wean but It's ok to give it to them to help with constipation. Just sips here & there inbetween feeds @tg123456789

@tg123456789, Harry suffered badly from constipation. I think he was 2 weeks when I first gave him cooled boiled water. Just an oz or two though!xx

Yh agree with the above cooled boiled water, my girls did the same when they had colic, and the boiled water helped with constipation loads x

boiled water, give her belly rubs while her clothes are on , lay her down and hold her legs and gently let them bend like riding a cycle but slowly , when changing the nappy gently wipe her bum up and down with wet cotton wool will help stimulate her put a bit of vasilene on out side of bum ring helps also and invade poo is hard it won't hurt coming out

as long as its boiled in kettle or clean pot where the water is boiled it's clean just check it's the right temp before giving invase it's bit to hot for baby , suppose to be good to feed baby boiled warm water aswell as milk doctors say
