how long after giving birth does it take to completely stop bleeding? im about over it im not used to bleeding more than…

My bleeding stopped at 4 almost 5 weeks but right when I hit 6 weeks I started my period it was very heavy then 2 weeks later started again /: lol

omg I will cry if that happens to me like how is that even ok? How can someone bleed that long and it be ok? lol I guess that goes to show how awesome we are as women @desssss

I'm wondering how long as well because my baby was born on Friday and now my bleeding is extremely light. not even filling up pads anymore

I don't fill up pads anymore either but im still bleeding bright red so im guessing its not going away anytime soon @riahlala3

It varies for each person/post pregnancy. With my son I bled for like 6-8 weeks. With my daughter I bled for less than a week. But be prepared for an unpredictable period after you stop. having a baby can mess with your period, it will eventually go back to normal (or you may be lucky and it go back to being normal)

@paisleesmommy19, oh ok mines isn't bright red almost brown now, and I'm breastfeeding idk if that changes things
