I called labor and delivery about the contractions went in and my contractions are 3 mins but not strong enough to dilate me. she told me to go home relax and try to get some sleep because they say if your body isn't relaxed and tired you won't dilate so it's a warm bath, sleepy time tea and hopefully a long nice nap for me

I had a membrane sweep today. Before the sweep I was 3-4 dilated & 75% effaced.

Question.. is it possible for one to be in “active labor” but not be dilated AT ALL? The only thing she’s having is contractions, not regular, irregular pattern contractions. They come in groups she says.
In the hospital. 4 cm dilated. having me walking to try to get my contractions persistent. if not ill be going home
